Yuzu Essential Oil

A spicy yet calming aroma of wood and branches leads, followed by the characteristic citrus scent of limonene, and finally, a balsamic, sweet, and stimulating fragrance of wood and herbs lingers.

Mostly composed of terpene hydrocarbons unique to citrus, Yuzu has particularly high antibacterial and antifungal properties. It provides a refreshing and uplifting sensation, promotes relaxation, improves blood circulation, relieves stress, and aids in sleep (both inducing sleep and awakening). It helps prevent brain fatigue and dementia, reduces swelling and cold sensitivity, improves digestive functions, stimulates saliva secretion, and offers antibacterial and antiviral benefits.

Though in small amounts, Yuzu contains germacene, which is said to stimulate the reproductive organs and promote ovulation in women, posing a risk of miscarriage if used in early pregnancy. Conversely, it can be expected to slowly alleviate symptoms for those wishing to conceive, experiencing menstrual irregularities, or going through menopause. It is also recommended for male menopause. Yuzu is beneficial for reducing lower body swelling, has been traditionally used for cold prevention, and is suitable for use in bath time.
